2006
The grand opening.
We opened the first Masstige on one of Lisbon's main thoroughfares, Avenidas Novas. The idea was simple, as all good ideas are. Meals with a dash of creativity, accompanied by the best music. We had Belle and Sebastian playing softly in the background, so that customers could chat at ease.
2008
The first branches.
Masstige has gained a reputation for hospitality. Therefore, we took advantage of this and accepted invitations to organise events and soirées. This is how Masstige Catering and Events was born.
2009
It is a three-year journey from Lisbon to the Algarve.
We headed to the Algarve. Our first expansion was in the village of Sagres.
2010
Here we go.
We enjoyed the smell of the sea so much that in 2010 we moved to our own little spot by the beach. The Masstige Praia Restaurant-Bar, on the Costa da Caparica.
2011
One month Downtown.
October was special. We were invited to spend a month at Experimenta Design, in the heart of downtown Lisbon. More than 15,000 people visited the venue. That's at least 500 people per day.
2014
The future is now.
With everything in place, in 2014 we began to think about the future and launched our catering and home delivery service: Masstige Delivery.
2017
The Return of Masstige.
We returned to where we had been very happy and opened a new Masstige on the new avenues. This time with a garden where everyone was welcome.
2019
Take me away.
Our strategic wait began to bear fruit. With the market established, we created Masstige Take Me with ready-made and frozen meals and a takeaway service.
2020
The first year of the rest of our lives.
In 2020, like all retailers, our lives were turned upside down. Thanks to COVID, we were forced to completely overhaul our business model. However, we are ready for whatever comes our way. With the experience we have gained with Masstige delivery, we have been able to adapt to the times by bringing our customers the best ready-made meals to their homes.
2021
Masstige is on(line).
In 2021, after part of the storm had passed, we came back stronger than ever. With a new website, more tailored to our customers' needs, and with a well-oiled catering and delivery service to bring our ready-made meals to every table.
